Killjoys Season 2

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

There’s nothing I love more than closing out a season with positive renewal news… Yay!Especially since Killjoys seriously upped the ante in its second season. The incredible world building opened up, our characters evolved plus we met a few new players, and the writing was consistently terrific. We laughed. We cried. We were shocked, but in the end always entertained.I have zero complaints about this finale. They even brought Clara back and gave us an outstanding space battle. How about those VFX guys?

A ton of information was thrown at us in the first half of this installment. Though it was important to learn how it all began, I admit I struggled a bit to wrap my head around it all. Things made much more sense after a second viewing.

It’s no surprise Khlyen was not the villain of the story, though he did wake “an ancient darkness.” All this time, he had been fighting for redemption and sacrificing himself for The Quad was the ultimate act of heroism.

The chemistry of the cast elevates the show’s genre mashup of western and science fiction beyond the point where it seems fair to continue comparing Killjoys to Firefly — especially since Killjoys has continued into a second season.-Molly Freeman

“How to Kill Friends and Influence People” is the Season 2 finale of Killjoys. The mission is simple — destroy the pure source of the plasma.

This definitely isn’t what I expected the finale to focus on. Honestly, I didn’t have any solid theories on what to expect, but I figured it would be more of a direct attack on the Nine or the Company, basically a retaliation for Pawter’s death.

I’m glad it didn’t go that route, because where’s the fun in doing what’s expected? Killjoys plays the smart game and goes after why the wall is up in the first place — the plasma.

I love how this mission involves Fancy and Khlyen working with our favorite killjoys. It’s ridiculously fun watching them interact. D’av and Fancy are hilarious as partners.

Plus, Khlyen and Dutch have great chemistry together. Personally, I’ve never really decided how I feel about Khlyen. He’s an extremely complicated character, which is a great thing.
