Madam Secretary Season 4

It took me awhile to buy the 1st season of Madam Secretary & then I was hooked. This series & this 4th season give you a glimpse of what the Secretary of State has on her plate – everything. From keeping NATO together to being accused of murder to being a mom. I did not care for all the primaries & political speeches in West Wing. I know they were necessary for the story. But Madam Secretary spends very little time on campaigning & primaries. She is too busy trying to feed starving nations or keep Russia from grabbing more territory. The number of issues she has to resolve are staggering. I like the fact that her home life is part of the story. It gives a break from the tension of the story being told. Her husband is a religious scholar who gets involved in some interesting plots of his own. The acting is superb. After awhile you forget they are acting & get drawn into the story that is being told at the time. You will not regret this purchase. And more than that you get a glimpse into the State Department & all the issues it handles day to day & it is definitely not boring.-Betsy

Love the actors and most of the story lines. Have really enjoyed the previous seasons.Some complex issues cannot be tied up with a bow in just one episode. A nice contrast, however to our current political reality.-Chemjudy
