DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

In the past I’ve had high regards for Swedish crime series e.g. “The Bridge”, “The Girl with …), but this series is the worst acted and scripted of all; on a par w/USA daytime soaps.
The usual mix of incompatible male & female detectives who act and talk like their only challenging & notable experiences in life have all occurred on a set/stage. One actor in particular was so ill suited for the job every time he talked you go ugghhhh! That be Greg Wise as lead FBI, Warren Schifford, presidential tag-along whose facial expressions mimicked Spader’s “Blacklist” character. While the US president’s personality & demeanor was best suited for cashiering at the local grocery.
The storyline for this season challenges a fifth grader’s credulity, i.e. a US president visits Sweden and disappears, duh! sure!!. And, all these government agencies from both sides of the pond argue & act like the biggest case in their resumés to date is shoplifting. Then there is the blame game; it must be a despicable outside baddie.
