Season four was not enjoyable. One could summarize the entirety of season four as featuring the fact that prison overcrowding causes the inmates to turn on each other and by contracting prison operations out to private contractors the focus is on lower costs of operations and higher profits for the vendors. This profiteering comes at the cost of eliminating even the most basic of human needs and the hiring of unqualified and hostile guards, who prey upon the weakest of the inmate population. Unvetted, untrained and irrational guards that both injure and even kill inmates under color of authority with complete impunity from answering for their own criminal conduct. And, while perhaps true, this is not an enjoyable season to watch at all.- Cook & Collector
