Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!-The Complete

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

I love Scooby-Doo and have been trying to collect all of the Scooby products make from the 60’s to the early 80’s. But this is very hard as different episodes and years get released under various names or have not been released at all.The key question for collectors is: What is counting as season 3? The original Scooby-Doo: Where Are You? contained TWO seasons, not three. Another reviewer, writing about the more expensive box set (not this product), gives a listing of Scooby history. He is right and wrong. But I want everyone to know that this package is counting the episodes that are in “The Scooby-Doo! / Dynomutt Hour” as the 3rd season. Not the 1978 episodes with other various. Some people will not care, as Scooby is awesome. But for collectors, the 1978 episodes are not in this collection.-Dr. B

For me, Scooby Doo begins here and ends when the ghosts are no longer fake. This package includes all of Scooby Doo, Where Are You!, but don’t expect it to include all the classic Scooby Doo from the 1960s and 70s. Season 3 has a complicated history, and part of it actually aired under The Scooby Doo Show title. This collection includes the entire third season, including the part that aired as The Scooby Doo Show. There are 2 other seasons of The Scooby Doo Show and also the New Scooby Doo Movies. These are not Scooby Doo, Where Are You! and are therefore not included in this set-donalies

I enjoyed picking up this collection as one who grew up with original series. This is a repackage of the collector set with the mystery machine. It comes in a compact flip case. Great looking color and audio. I thought it was well restored for the age. Easy to navigate through the episodes. I think most fans should enjoy this. Everything plays well. It contains the first two original seasons from the 1960s. It also has the first season when the show was rebooted in the mid 70s. It does skip over the New ScoobyDoo Movies that had costars like Tim Conway and Jerry Reed. This series is partially available on another DVD. Really enjoyed Scooby Doo Where Are You.-Eric B.
