Supergirl Season 3 UK Region

This is the best season thus far … Supergirl gets tough and the soap opera which was ruining it gets toned down
Warning … If you are not into gay scenes girl on girl or your family avoid this series
They broke up Supergirl’s sister with her female lover which was OK by me … grossed me out … the few scenes in this season I fast forward through
Glad the owners of this franchise didn’t force you to watch subsequent seasons online … My view is I won’t be blackmailed to use an online service to watch a new season that first appeared on DVD to capture our interest
Shark season 2 was lost to this marketing ploy which I will not watch as with Salvation season 2 and Human Target season 2 … will not watch

…but I like it as well as any of the CW comic book series.
Cat Grant is pretty well dropped from the series in the first episode. Alex’s Gay romance is badly handled ( Floriana Lima wouldn’t / couldn’t sign on for a complete season), General Lane and Max Lord (1st season characters) get I think one mention each. Gruff elder reporter Sapper Carr (that is the name, right?) is on sabbatical (and never mentioned again). The alien bar from second season not mentioned, not sure if the bar our hero visits is supposed to be it or not…no aliens. The Guardian storyline almost disappears.
Not one but two threats this time around, though Morgan Edge seemed rather weak and didn’t appear in many episodes. Reign and the evil Kryptonians made a pretty good threat not always handled well but interesting (and probably won’t get much mention in Season 4).
Erica Durance as the new Alura Zor-El is a little young but part of some interesting storylines (too bad the Kryptonian Space city looked nothing like Krypton). I didn’t really like the way Mon-El and his friends were brought into the story but I’m not sure what I’d do to improve it.
Some good among the bad, I like the Kara &Alex trip back home episode as an example, some others not as much. I’ll watch 4th season, even if it’s a little sloppy it will be some of the CW’s best.
Like Second Season there was a crossover mini series in 3rd. It was OK, but if you cared about it you had to either buy al the other series just to get the relevant episodes or buy a foreign PAL format DVD to get them (or a download from Amazon/iTunes?). According to the disc notes the Blu ray edition, but not the DVD, of Season 3 Supergirl has them so if you want the event on disc this time around you can get it.

This option to buy supergirl Came up first in the search. Since I live in Region 1, get region 1 search results on dvds , I assumed it was region 1.. this Was not the case. I had purchased region 2. I then went to product description to see if it stated that and it did. I shouldn’t have to check the region, especially when most product headlines state it. That way, I don’t have to waste my time. Clearly, there needs some bugs that need to be fixed. I will be returning this item. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks
