Maze Runner – The Death Cure [UK Region]

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

I loved the first one, I loved the second one and absolutely loved the third one. This one was the culmination of the trilogy and the ending was what it needed to be. I won’t say too much because of the fact that maybe you haven’t seen it yet but still what a terrific finale. All the actors are right into their parts, the villains and evil and villainous and the good guys are ….well Good.- Russell S

As sequels go, this one pretty much falls in line with the rest, i.e., it concludes the previous two but does not give an ending that satisfies the viewer. The first was very interesting and draws the view in, leaving him/her eagerly waiting for the second instalment. The second had to much focus on the “cranks” (zombies?) and leaves you wondering where they got the petrol to run all those cars in a world now destroyed with no mechanics, not oil refineries, and no sources for the production of both food and clothing. Ok, I know, I know …. It’s a movie. That’s how. But with the release of the third and final instalment the questions that still go unanswered prevail, the goal of rescuing Mino is accomplished as great cost, and the ending leaves the viewing bewildered as to the future. Oh the ending does not even hint of a fourth instalment, rest assured of that. The entire trilogy is for viewing without reference to the books they were adapted from, rational scientific thinking, and fulfilment of your expectations. You have to watch these with a grain of salt and a pound of faith for pure enjoyment only. The plots are OK, the acting good and convincing, and the overall production pass muster. So view with confidence.- De witte leeuw.

This movie was a step up from The Scorch Trials. As someone who loved the books, I was a little surprised when the movie adaptations went so far away from the source material, but I feel this one has redeemed the storyline a bit (I am not against going off from the source material, I just felt the Scorch Trials was not better than the book storyline), and the acting is fabulous.-Katherine
